2013 Annual Dinner Dance!
05 May 2013

Now we all know how much of a great event a club dinner dance can be and how much it has profited your club in the past years.

Well 2012 is no different!
On the 27TH OF April; the Radisson Blu Hotel Glasgow was just the place to be with live music, amazing food and an atmosphere like no other and it was all courtesy of Tir Conaill Harps!

One thing we can’t miss is the generosity of each and every attendant of the night from ticket buyers to raffle players and we cant forget the heads or tails and our HUGE raffle, every penny you donated helps to improve your club and do wonders for the people the club collects within Glasgow!

Now, no Dinner dance should be without some sort of prize should it? Well we beat the game we had
Why don’t you join me in congratulating our winners for 2012!

Maurice Friel winner of John porter award!

Declan Samson winner of Young person of the year!

Fergal Coffey winner of Coach of the year

Damian Shannon winner of senior player of the year!

Braniff Joinery winner of Partner of year !

The effort involved in bringing this whole night together required a bond, one which is almost as strong as a Bronagh Walsh to stick all the tiny details together and the determination from each individual of the club was phenomenal  and without which the night would have been impossible! No sorry, The club would be impossible without its volunteers and players! So thank you to all involved in making our dinner dance a success!

On behalf of Tir Conaill I’d like to give a huge thank you to Martin McAviney the Ulster GA Chairman who took time out of his busy schedule to join us, Ricky Burns and his manager who kindly donated ring side seats to his match as an auction prize, ACS who were our main seller of tables without whom there would have been a lot of empty chairs, all of our prize donators and last but no means least the volunteers who got roped in to ensure the night ran as smooth as possible!
