The Harps South Shinty team travelled to Aberdeen for a Challenge Cup game on Sunday.  Aberdeen came out the victors in the 3-1 result.

Tir Conaill lost full back Mel Eggleton to a fairly severe tackle early on in the first half.  The team battled well and at half time it was all square at 0-0.  Aberdeen had the best of the second half and eventually proved too strong for the Harps.

On the up side Sarah Murdin picked up her first shinty goal and was the Coach's Player of the Match, with George also picking out Katherine McEleavy in goal for a mention. Our young players did very well, especially Caitlin McGrath who dealt with a lot of pressure in back line in the second half.
